Fun with noises

Quinn likes to hang out with me in the kitchen when I'm cooking...now she's playing with her own cooking utensils, spoons!  But this time, she added a little something extra. :-)

With sounds like these, Quinn would fit right in with the junior high crowd.

Itsy Bitsy Spider

Quinn loves music!! Now this video may not be what you would call "music" (my singing is kinda weak), but Quinn likes it just the same. 

She's also "dancing" now...I'll work on getting a video of that and post soon. That's my girl!!

Romp-n-Roll

This post is quite a bit late but in April I took Quinn to Romp-n-Roll for a fun class on a Saturday morning. It's basically a big room full of big soft toys for the kids to play on with other kids. We were in the "baby" class with a couple other kids. The parents sing-along to songs, help the kids play instruments, do parachute games and play on the toys. It was a fun day and something I can see us doing more often when Quinn is a little older and its colder outside. Here are a few pics from the day.

Here is a short video of Quinn throwing the ball. She's throwing left-handed in the video but she does it with both hands so still not sure if we have a righty or lefty.

Bouncy-time fun

We recently put together Quinn's bouncy seat and she's been experimenting with it for the past couple of weeks. But just today, Quinn learned to bounce in her bouncy seat! Before that she played with the toys and I bounced her in it, but now, watch out! She figured it out all on her own and can't be stopped now. Go Quinn, Go!!
