Hockey Game

A few weekends ago we met Daddy in DC for a weekend with the Elliott family. We were excited to take Gramps to a Rangers vs. Caps hockey game that the kids gave him for Christmas. This was Quinn's first sporting event (outside of my belly of course). She likes watching hockey on TV, but the noise and excitement of the live event may have been just a little too much. She was a trooper as always though. I carried her in the baby bjorn and she had a whole lotta firsts...first time being in a crowd, first time being outside in cold weather longer than going to the car and first time at a hockey game. All in all, she did great...but we left early. :p
Here is a pic of us at the game. Gramps and Grandmomma got us all Rangers jerseys...including Quinn. She was a BIG hit...seriously got SO much attention in this little jersey. Adorable.

Ps: this was only one day after Mike had a HORRIBLE 24 hr virus while working on site and flying (ugh, horribleeeeeeee, he was a trooper) and 4 days after I had it at home (not pretty). Aunt Meg got it the Sunday we left. :(

When's the nice weather coming back?

Because we can't WAIT for it to get back here so we can get outside and enjoy it!!

Visiting with Pap and Gigi

In February we had a great visit with Pap and Gigi. Quinn loved seeing her grandparents, Uncle Jeff, Aunt Kendall (with baby Teagan still in her mommy's belly...although not anymore!!) and Bubba the doggy. We were also there for Kendall's baby shower so Quinn dressed up in CUTE dress. She looked like a doll-baby if I do say so myself. Here are a few pics from the weekend. She was about 4 months and a week at the time (yes, I'm a little late on the post).

Play Date with Walker and Garrett

This past weekend Quinn invited her buddies/future boyfriends over for a play date. It had absolutely nothing to do with the fact that her mommy really wanted to hang out with their mommy. :-) Walker and Garrett are almost 10 months old (WOW!!) and such wonderful little guys. They have the sweetest personalities. Here are a few pics from the day.

So here's the thing, Quinn had just started sitting up for about 15-20 seconds on her own but as soon as the boys got there, she decided she'd just sit up on her own...for SEVERAL minutes! It's like she looked at them and though, "oh, that's how you do it" or she wanted to show off for older guys. I can understand either thought process. :-) You'll notice a couple pics below with Quinn sitting all by herself.

Happy 5 months Quinn!

Our precious baby girl is now 5 months old!! Her giggles and belly laughs are contagious and her smile will melt you even on the roughest of days.  Mommy and Daddy love you Quinn!
